I remember you, Mocha. 🩷
Have you read See You Later or Down the Rabbit Hole of Narcissism? In those two books, I wrote about Mocha being put down. (And this is the sweatshirt Tom received at his going away party. I am 18 here. This is the ugliest sofa ever and I wrote about it too.)
This is Mocha.
This was our family pet, a female chow chow that my mother put to sleep, after Mocha protected my mother from my abusive father.
Mocha bit my father when he attacked my mother. My father told my mother to put Mocha to sleep after their physical fight. My family dog did the ultimate act of love and what did my mother do? She put Mocha to sleep instead of opening her eyes and seeing the real biter.
My father has always been an ugly monster.
That sweet pet loved my mother and my mother put her down.
That’s something that will never be undone, much like my mother choosing my father over me.
Who does that? Who does either of the above mentioned things? That’s my mother.
And who attacked his wife and had a pet fight him off? My father. His narcissistic ugly attitude then told her to put our family pet to sleep. It was him or the dog. And she chose Frank.
That’s just one example of my lineage. I have thousands of horrible stories. Thousands.
My mother asked me to come with her to the vet, when Mocha was put down and I refused. I told her not to do it.
I refused to be part of her dysfunctional behavior at the ugly directive of Frank.
